Mitrabha Guha shines at 19th Paracin Chess Festival 2026
IM Artem Pingin won 19th Paracin Open A (>2100) 2026 scoring 7/9. GM Mitrabha Guha and IM Munkhdalai Amilal also scored the same. They secured second and third place respectivel according to tie-breaks.
Mitrabha clear first in Blitz, second in Classical and third in Rapid
GM Mitrabha Guha and IM Munkhdalai Amilal (MGL) are the only two players to make a podium finish in each of the Classical, Rapid and Blitz events. Mitrabha claimed second place in Classical, third in Rapid and first in Blitz. Amilal was third in Classcail, second in Rapid and Blitz each.
The total prize fund of the festival was RSD 1580000, RSD 1000000 in Open A. The top three prizes were RSD 250000, 180000 and 140000 along with a trophy each. For Rapid, the total prize fund was RSD 150000. The top three prizes were RSD 35000 + trophy, 25000 and 20000 each. For Blitz, the total prize fund was RSD 100000.

A total of 88 players including seven GMs, seven IMs, a WGM and two WIMs took part from 21 countries across the world in Open A (>2100). The nine-day nine-round Rating tournament was organized by FM FT IA IO Sasa Jevtic in Hotel Residency Prestige in Paracin, Serbia from 3rd to 11th July 2026. The time control of the tournament was 90 minutes + 30 seconds increment.
A total of 144 players including eight GMs and five IMs took part from 18 countries across the world in 22nd Uros Dinic Memorial Rapid Rating Open. The one-day nine-round Rapid Rating tournament was organized by FM FT IA IO Sasa Jevtic in Hotel Residency Prestige in Paracin, Serbia on 5th July 2026. The time control of the tournament was 10 minutes + 5 seconds increment.
A total of 95 players including five GMs and three IMs took part from 14 countries across the world in Blitz Rating Open. The one-day eleven-round Blitz Rating tournament was organized by FM FT IA IO Sasa Jevtic in Hotel Residency Prestige in Paracin, Serbia on 10th July 2026. The time control of the tournament was 3 minutes + 2 seconds increment.
