Harshit Raja wins Lone Star Rating Open 2026
GM Harshit Raja and Nicolas Alejandro De La Colina (USA) scored an unbeaten 4.5/5 each at Lone Star Rating Open 2026. Harshit became champion. The total prize fund was US$ 11750. The top three prizes were $1700 + plaque, $900 and $600.

A total of 61 players including a GM took part from various parts of USA, one from India and Türkiye each. The three-day five-round Rating Open tournament was organized by Cypress Chess LLC at DoubleTree by Hilton Houston Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas, USA from 13th to 15th March 2026. The time control of the tournament was 90 minutes + 30 seconds increment.
