Nihal and Aravindh set to battle at 7th Stepan Avagyan Memorial 2026
Nihal Sarin and Aravindh Chithambaram will be the two Indians to take part in 7th Stepan Avagyan Memorial Round-Robin 2026.
Aravindh is back to defend his crown
GM Samuel Sevian (USA) and GM Aravindh Chithambaram are the only two previous champions of this tournament in 2022 and 2025 respectively, are taking part in this edition.

40 moves in 90 minutes + 30 minutes + 30 seconds increment from move no.1.
Prizes
The total prize fund is 10050000 AMD (≈ US$ 26000). The top three prizes are AMD 3200000, 2200000 and 1700000 each. The top three Chessify prizes are bundle worth $350, $300 and $250 each.
