Anuj Shrivatri decimates 2nd Rejoice Chanakya CTF Rapid Rating Open 2026
IM Anuj Shrivatri scored an unbeaten 8.5/9 to win 2nd Rejoice Chanakya CTF Rapid Rating Open 2026. He finished a half point ahead of the rest. FM Om Manish Kadam, FM Aansh Nandan Nerurkar, FM Priyanshu Patil and Nikhil Shelar Kathit scored 8/9 each. They secured second to fifth place respectively according to tie-breaks. The total prize fund was ₹250000. The top three prizes were ₹30000, ₹25000 and ₹20000 along with a trophy each.

A total of 421 players including two IMs took part from all over the country, one from Germany, Netherlands, USA and Zambia each. The one-day nine-round Rapid Rating Open tournament was organized by Rejoice International School, Chanakya Chess Academy and Chess Training Foundation at Rejoice International School in Mumbai, Maharashtra on 25th January 2026. The time control of the tournament was 15 minutes + 3 seconds increment.
