Vidit – Theodorou: 1-0

Vidit Gujrathi (2708) and Nikolas Theodorou (GRE, 2634) have played three Classical rated games against each other. Vidit won two and the remaining one ended in a draw. In the endgame, Theodorou sacrificed his bishop for two pawns as his pieces got quite cramped. A delay in bringing his own king into the action made all the difference. Thus, Vidit scored his third Classical win over Theodorou and first of the event.
