IM Konstantin Peyrer, GM Markus Ragger and GM Harikrishnan A Ra scored 6/7 each at Stift Melk 2026 Rapid B. Peyrer became champion on tie-breaks, Ragger second and Harikrishnan third.

Markus Ragger dominates Blitz, Harikrishnan second

GM Markus Ragger (AUT) scored an unbeaten 10.5/11 to win the Blitz event. GM Harikrishnan A Ra scored 9.5/11 to secure second place. IM Konstantin Peyrer (AUT) claimed third place scoring 8.5/11.

The top three prizes in Rapid were €400, €250 and €300 each respectively. For Blitz they were, €200, €150 and €100.

Total 113 players including two GMs, six IMs and a WGM took part from seven countries across the world. The one-day seven Round Swiss League Rapid Rating Open tournament was organized by Schachklub Loosdorf at elk Abbey, Koloman Hall in Melk, Austria on 11th July 2026. The time control of the tournament was 10 minutes + 5 seconds increment.

Total 93 players including two GMs, five IMs and a WGM took part from seven countries across the world. The one-day eleven Round Swiss League Blitz Rating Open tournament was organized by Schachklub Loosdorf at elk Abbey, Koloman Hall in Melk, Austria on 10th July 2026.
