Raghav Srivathsav prevails at 24th Pizzas de Meaux Blitz Rating Open 2026
Raghav Srivathsav V scored 6/7 to win 24th Pizzas de Meaux Blitz Rating Open 2026. Gabriel Saad (FRA) and Theophane Demange (FRA) scored 5.5/7 each. They secured second and third place respectively. Total prize fund was €120. The top three prizes were €50, €40 and €30.
Raghav’s third tournament triumph of the year
Gil Moreira (FRA) and Raghav Srivathsav V were the coleaders at 5/6 each, going into the last round. Theophane Demange (FRA) and Gabriel Saad (FRA) were trailing by a half point at 4.5/6 each. Gil lost to Theophane and Bruno Lafont (FRA) suffered defeat against Raghav. Thus, Raghav became a clear champion.

A total of 24 players took part from all over France and one from India. The one-day seven-round Blitz Rating Open tournament was organized by and at Club d’Echecs La Tour Noire de Meaux in Meaux, France on 17th April 2026. The time control of the tournament was 5 minutes + 2 seconds increment.
