24th ASEAN+ Age Group Chess Championships 2026 to take place in Singapore

The 24th edition of ASEAN+ Age Group Chess Championships 2026 will take place in Singapore from 7th to 17th August. Chess Global Cities Pte. Ltd. and Singapore Chess Association invites players from ASEAN members – Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam and Timor-Leste, Dialogue Partners – Australia, China, Hong Kong, Macau, India, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, South Korea and USA are eligible. If the participation requirements are met, the medal winners in selected categories may become eligible for direct titles and norms.

Direct Title and Prize details

Check out the image below for direct title information. The Prize fund for Premier category in Standard event is SGD 30000. The top three prizes are SGD 10000, 7000 and 5000. For Challengers category in Standard event is SGD 6000. The top three prizes are SGD 1200, 900 and 700. Cash prizes are equally shared in case of ties. Rapid and Blitz event prizes for these two categories will be announced later.
