Estrelas S. João De Brito A defeated AA Coimbra A 3-1 to win 47th Taça de Portugal 2025-26. GM Pranav Venkatesh scored a win over FM Daniel Taboas Rodriguez.
Third consecutive title for the Lisbon team, Pranav’s fifth rating tournament triumph of the year
Estrelas S. João De Brito A won their third consecutive title in-a-row. In the Semifinals, Independente FC Torrense A went down by the same score 1-3 against the winning team. GM Pranav Venkatesh only played two games in the event but both of them were at a crucial stage – Semifinal and Final. He won both of them to win the event.
Immediately after the conclusion of this event, Pranav represented the same team at Portugal National Championship 1st Division 2025-26. The team finished third in it.

The Semifinal and Final took place at Hotel Monte Rio in São Pedro do Sul, Portugal on 11th and 12th July 2026. The time control of the event was 90 minutes + 30 seconds increment.
